hi, i’m ely, the artist and creator of the world of elysia. My artistic practice involves painting, illustration, mixed media, and writing as forms of storytelling. Inspired by the fantastical and the surreal, my world of elysia comes to life through my cohesive visual aesthetic as well as my attention to detail and world building. As a trans woman, I am currently deeply interested in exploring themes of gender, sexuality, and identity through individual works that break from the overarching narrative of the world of elysia to explore my own personal struggles and experiences.
